Calling all volunteers - Community Awards funding available this June!

If you volunteer or work with a local cause that’s looking for a much needed funding boost for a specific project or scheme, then you’re in luck - the OneFamily Foundation Community Awards return on the 21st June. OneFamily was formed in 2015 following a merger between Engage Mutual and Family Investments.

Projects, schemes or initiatives that aim to improve the lives of people in the UK have the chance to gain up to £5,000, £10,000 or £25,000, with up to 32 winners across four varied categories:

· Health, Disability & Social Care – Projects that help people with mental health problems, learning or physical disabilities or those in respite care

· Lifelong Learning – Projects that encourage people of all ages to learn something new and develop their skills

· Active Living – Projects that help people of all ages to enjoy a fitter, happier lifestyle

· Community Groups – Projects that help to make a positive difference for those in the community

You’ll need to be an OneFamily customer to nominate a project for a Community Award, but don’t worry if you’re not – OneFamily has over 2 million customers, so you can get involved by finding a one who can nominate a project on your behalf.

Ask your friends, family and colleagues if they are OneFamily customers and if they’d be able to get behind your project.
