1. Saturday Youth Group Coordinator

Based in Wolvercote, Oxford.

We are looking for a creative, organised and inspiring Youth Group Coordinator to lead our youth group for 8 – 12 year olds with Asperger Syndrome/Higher Functioning Autism. You will be responsible for running the youth group, organising activities, line manage two staff and team of volunteers.
Working hours are Saturdays 9:30am – 12:30pm term-time only (39 weeks) as well as an additional 0.75 hours per week for planning, or periodic staff meetings or training.
If you have at least 2 years’ experience of leading group activities with young people with autism, are a motivating leader, have excellent organising skills, and are reliable - we would like to hear from you!
Start Date: September 2019.

2. Saturday Youth Support Worker
£10 per hour, 3.25 hours per week
Saturdays 9:30am – 12:30pm, Term-time only
Based in Wolvercote, Oxford.

We are looking for a playful, creative and energetic Youth Support Worker to join our youth group for 8 – 12 year olds with Asperger Syndrome/Higher Functioning Autism. You will support the Youth Group Coordinator to plan and run activities and support youth group members to participate and enjoy the sessions.
Working hours are Saturdays 9:30am – 12:30pm term-time only (39 weeks) as well as additional time for planning, or attending periodic staff meetings or training. Experience of working with young people on the autism spectrum is essential. Start Date: September 2019
Applicants should have at least 2 years’ experience of supporting young people with autism in a group setting, enjoy working with young people and have a sense of fun.

3. Youth Support Worker
Wednesday evenings
£10 per hour, 4 hours per week
Wednesdays 6pm – 9:30pm, Term time only
Based in St Clements, Headington, Oxford

We are looking for a nurturing, committed and inspiring Youth Support Worker to support 16 – 25 year olds with Asperger’s Syndrome/Higher Functioning Autism. You will assist the Youth Group Coordinator to run the youth group; assist with organising onsite and offsite activities; support the young people to participate and enjoy the sessions and facilitate peer support.
Working hours are Wednesdays 6pm – 9:30pm term-time only (39 weeks) as well as an additional 0.5 hours per week for planning, staff meetings or training.
Applicants should have at least 2 years’ experience of supporting young people with autism in a group setting, and able to nurture and enable young adults.
Start Date: September 2019.

4. Casual Support Workers
£10 per hour
Summer and Easter school holidays, and occasional staff cover in term time youth groups.
Various locations
We are looking for creative, playful and experienced Casual Support Workers to assist with our Holiday Activities for 8-17 year olds with Asperger Syndrome/Higher Functioning Autism. Post holders will assist with activities; support young people to participate in activities; and facilitate social skills and friendships.

Work is flexible and available during Summer and Easter school holidays (various hours and locations); and occasional staff cover at our term-time youth groups on Wednesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings (Oxford and Abingdon).
Applicants should have at least experience of supporting young people with autism in group settings, enjoy supporting young people in play & leisure settings, have a sense of fun, be responsible and enjoy working in a team.
