The Shadowlight Artists are an award-winning group of artist with learning disabilities based in Oxfordshire. The group are supported to meet monthly, and have exhibited around the UK,
on national TV, and at festivals in UK, Europe, Canada, USA, Mexico and South America. They are currently looking for new recruits to the group as part of their Platform project.
Are you:
• An artist based in Oxfordshire with passion who could commit to joining the group?
• Interested in painting, sculpture, photography, film or performance?
• Do you have some work you could show us?
We would like to see some examples of your work. The best 3 artists will be invited to a 2-day workshop with the group in the summer, and one of these will be invited to join the Shadowlight Artists. If you are interested, please send 4-5 images of your work to Film Oxford marked ‘Shadowlight Artists’, or email your images to office@filmoxford.org. Remember to include your name and contact details.We are particularly interested in hearing from female artists to help balance the group.
