Makaton is a communication system using signs, symbols, and speech, and has a long history of helping children and adults with a variety of communication difficulties to interact with those around them.
These workshops cover Stage 1-4 of the Makaton Core Vocabulary, giving you about 200 signs and symbols. they are very practical, so you’ll get lots of opportunities to have a go at signing as well as learning about Makaton itself.
