The Bringing Us Together Facebook site has published a new guide to surviving Care and Treatment Reviews for families written by parents for parents.These review, which as the name suggests, look at the care and treatment of people with learning disabilities or autism, check that they are cared for safely, and that the treatment they receive is appropriate .They also look at whether the person can be either discharged or moved into a less restrictive environment .They take place when a relative is placed in a mental health unit or a step down unit, under a Mental Health Act section.CTR-Survival-Guide-Aug-2017-1.pdf (626.2 KB)
