Award-winning NHS England Project "Making Families Count"

A pilot project that NHS England South funded and led, working in partnership with a charity called 100 Families- who support people who have lost loved ones as a result of NHS homicides- (where a patient with mental health needs kills a member of the public ) - have been working with a number of other charities, including Oxfordshire Family Support Network and campaign groups to highlight how support to families can be improved when a family member dies through NHS failings.
This project has been short-listed for a national award for compassion in care, the Kate Granger Award.
