Just a reminder that the Government Consultation on the way that Deprivation of Liberty Safeguarding (DOLS)is currently applied is ending on Friday 2nd March.
DOLS can affect many people with learning disabilities if they are not free to just walk out of the property they live in, and have locks on doors to protect them. This could apply in a number of settings, including supported living and residential care, as well as hospitals.
