Embolden focus meeting - banbury

The next Embolden Focus Meeting run by OxFSN will be in Banbury at the Style Acre Hub. A great opportunity for Family Carers to come along and share with us your hopes, worries, concerns in a friendly, relaxed environment. We are listening to what you have to say and working on how we can help you to make the the changes you want to see. Bring along someone you know who may not yet know about OxFSN and the Embolden project- in particular, any older family carers who are still supporting their family member with a learning disability in what ever capacity - whether at home, in supported living or out of county. The more of us in this together - the better.

Monday February 20th 2017 from 10am – 12-30pm @

Style Acre Hub
5 Butchers Row
Banbury

Come along for an informal get together to hear what Team Embolden have been doing to support Family Carers since the project started in 2016.

There will be updates on

• You Said, We Did meeting for those that could not attend.
• Day Services – updates and comments
• Care Act Information – how to use it to challenge
• Health Equalities Framework and how that might feed in to evidence gathering to change polices

It will also be an opportunity for you to update us on any issues that you are continuing to face as a Family Carer for a family member with a Learning Disability.
