Enough is Enough Campaign Update

Hello everyone, we wanted to update you about the opportunity to make our voices heard at the Performance and Scrutiny Committee next Thursday 17th December.

Paul Cann, from Age UK Oxfordshire, has requested a slot to speak at the County Council meeting.

There may just still be time to apply to speak about the proposed cuts at that meeting.

If you wish to speak to the Performance and Scrutiny Committee about the impact of proposed cuts - please contact the Democracy Services Team at County Hall.

Here is the link to show how to apply and speak.

Please write to your county councillor and MP if you have not done so.

There will be a group of us outside County Hall from 9 am until the meeting starts at 10 am who are going bring placards to line up outside County hall to raise awareness of our concerns.
One suggestion has been to have placards with photos of our relatives on, with “I am a savings option”.

We also want to show that these proposals will hit hard across the whole of the community in Oxfordshire if they go ahead.

If you want any further information, please contact info@oxfsn.org.uk

It’s really important that the voices of people with learning disabilities, autism and other SEN are heard in this debate along with their families.
