Dear all
We have the yearly Have a Go Festival taking place on Thursday 9th July between 10am and 2pm at the Horspath Sports Ground, Oxford Road, Horspath, Oxford OX4 2RR. Please see the attached flyer with event details.
This is event is put on by Oxford Health NHS and Active Oxfordshire, and this will be our 12th year of running it. It is a free sports day event for people with a learning disability living in and around Oxfordshire to join. This year we have many favourite activities returning for people to have a go at such as football, archery, dance, rugby, cycling, tennis, cricket, and lots more, as well as some exciting new ones! The activities are aimed for older teens 16+ / adults to participate in.
Please do help to spread the word about the event also by sharing and displaying the poster attached and re-sharing our Oxford Health NHS social media posts on your platforms.

The event is weather dependent and if the forecast is not looking good, we will unfortunately need to cancel so do keep an eye on the Oxford Health social media, we will aim to email in advance also but please do bear this in mind and check before you travel.
There is free parking on site with bus space, but as many of you know it is a very busy car park and so for those arriving via mini bus please leave contact information in the dashboard should we need to reach you. We encourage everyone to bring drinks to stay hydrated, suncream if needed, and a picnic lunch if you’d like to spend the day with us.
New for this year we have use of the indoor space within the Oxford Harlequins Rugby Club House, if it’s a hot day or you would like a quieter space to sit inside you are welcome to use this. There will be signage but just ask anyone in high vis for directions if you would like to use this space.
If anyone has any queries or would like to know more, please do get in touch with me. Our website page can be found here Are you ready to Have A Go this July? | Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust
