As the eldest of three I grew up as a carer for my younger siblings who have learning disabilities. Now we are all adults and the caring responsibilies continue. Coping with daily challenges, and, concern for the future can, at times, be a particular worry for families and older carers.
This forum will hopefully enable more family carers to discover that we are not alone; that there are many others experiencing similar situations in Oxfordshire. And that some of the issues - that affect us or our relative(s) with learning disabilities - may be addressed in some way by the helpful members of this Online community.
