The Goverment have produced a response to the 2nd Annual Report on the Mortality Reviews into the causes of death of people with learning disabilities.There is an open referral process to anyone to refer a death of a person with a learning disability to the LeDeR Team so that the circumstances surrounding their deaths can be reviewed by local area review panels.
Learning Disability England , which is an alliance of people with learning disabilities, family carers and providers of services to people with learning disabilities have put together their thoughts on the Government’s response.
