There is a new framework that was issued on March 1st this year to provide guidance about how the Continuing Health Care funding should be applied.
Continuing Health Care funding can be provided if the person has a primary health care need.
It is a very complex assessment, looking at 11 domains, including behaviours, nutrition, cognition etc.
Beacon Advocacy, based in Oxfordshire, can provide advocacy on eligibility for CHC funding. They can provide an initial free hour of advice, and can provide a paid for advocacy service through the different stages of the process.
