The Lord Chancellors Office have issued new guidance on making it easier for people who lose loved ones in prison, and in mental health units to gain access for legal aid funding for inquests. .It does not, however, address the issues of funding legal aid if someone loses a loved one in other NHS Trust services.
There is a call for evidence in a consultation, so perhaps people may wish to respond to that.
