New, word-free book club - Join us!

The Bodleian Library on Broad Street are looking to start a free, monthly book club for Adults with Learning Disabilities, as part of the Books Beyond Words Project.

Using word-free, picture-based books, we’ll talk about the stories that we think the pictures are telling us or use the pictures to talk about our own stories in a friendly space, where we can make friends and simply have fun!

Our first meet-up in on Thursday 27th June, at 3pm. This will be an introduction to the book group, getting to know each other and choosing the books that we’ll look at together between July - December.

Spaces are limited, so if you would like to come along, please email Hayleigh at to join and Hayleigh will send you all the information you need.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Apologies, if anyone would like to call to book a place on our book group, please call Hayleigh on 01865 616998 or you can text or WhatsApp Hayleigh on 07704601999.

Due to lack of interest, our first meet up on Thursday 27th June at 3pm has now been cancelled. We will post a new date again soon.
