OxFSN’s Upcoming Events
Please find attached our upcoming events for the Embolden project for 2025.
Most of the events will be online as we know that not all family carers are able to attend in person. More detail about each event will be sent separately but you can start booking your place now.
The only date we are waiting to confirm is with the Office of the Public Guardian – it usually takes a while to pin them down to an actual date but they have said they are keen to do another event for us so we will release that date as soon as we know.
Our funding for the Embolden Project finishes in August 2025 but we are busy trying to secure more as we speak as we know how much our older carers have really valued the support we have been able to offer. Our legacy event on the 1st July will look at what we have achieved, what we have learnt and our recommendations for moving forward. It would be really good to have as many family carers there who have benefited from the project in some way to feed back their thoughts. We will be inviting professionals from health, social care, both locally and nationally as well as The National Lottery Community Fund to attend so hearing directly from family carers themselves about the impact it has made is always much more meaningful.
