Dear all,
The ‘Hospital Heroes’ award, (an award for staff members nominated by patients or relatives of patients) as supported by the Oxford Mail, is being redesigned by the Organisation Development (OD) team and it needs a new name!
The OD team got together with a representative from the Patient Experience Team and the Hospital Charity to come up with some ideas, but we would appreciate input from our patient and public partners. PPG chairs and those involved in patient/carer panels, please could you pass this on to your members?
The list we came up with is below:
Ø Patients’ Choice Award
Ø Patients Saying Thank You
Ø Patients Say Thanks
Ø Putting Patients at the Heart
Ø Patients’ Star Award
Ø Making a Difference Award
If you have a preference for any of these, please let us know. Likewise, if you have a suggestion for a name, please feel free to suggest it!
Please note that we already have the ‘Staff Recognition Awards’, as voted for by staff.
If you could give your opinions by the end of this week, that would be greatly appreciated.
