FREE FUN SUMMER ART WORKSHOPS WITH SHADOWLIGHT ARTISTS
Join the Shadowlight Artists at Film Oxford for a summer of creativity, fun and new experiences. Take part in free, hands-on art workshops in a friendly and welcoming environment where everyone can explore their creativity, build confidence and meet new people.
Fridays throughout the 2026 summer until the end of September
Most sessions run 11.30am to 2.30pm (please bring your own lunch)
Some sessions are longer filmmaking workshops for those who want to get involved in creating films (10.30am-3.30pm).
New Accessible Venue
Film Oxford has recently moved to the East Oxford Community Centre, offering fantastic new facilities including:
Lift access
Brand new accessible toilets
Comfortable, modern workshop spaces
Air conditioning to keep cool during the summer
Whether you’re interested in drawing, painting, filmmaking, craft activities or trying something completely new, there’s something for everyone.
